SantaPark calls itself the world's only underground Christmas theme park. One warm corridor curves through the rock, and the attractions open off it: Elf School, Santa's Office, a post office, the Elf Show, an elf workshop, Mrs Gingerbread's Bakery, the Magic Train Ride and the Toy Factory.
There is also a point where you cross the Arctic Circle again, this time from underneath it.
Santa Claus Village is an outdoor place, and outdoors in Lapland is a real weather decision with small children. SantaPark is the opposite: everything happens indoors, in one place, at the same temperature all day.
It is worth knowing that this is a separate business at a separate address. That catches people out, because the free things in Santa Claus Village and the ticket for SantaPark are not the same thing at all.
Down there you cross the Arctic Circle a second time, underneath the first one. Same line, different ceiling.
Winter season: SantaPark is open from 31 October 2026 to 23 January 2027.
Opening hours are 10.00 to 18.00 on most days, and 09.00 to 18.00 at weekends in December and daily from 24 to 31 December.
Tickets start at 42 € per adult and 37 € per child aged 3 to 12. Under-3s go free. A booking fee is added and prices vary by date.
SantaPark is not inside Santa Claus Village and it is not covered by the village's free attractions. The address is Tarvantie 1.
