Snowman World in Santa Claus Village: a day ticket to a park built from snow, plus the Elf Academy next door. Season dates and what the ticket includes.

A park built out of snow: a tube slide, an ice rink, a maze and a restaurant with walls of ice.
Everything here is made of snow and ice. You slide down an icy hill on a tube, try skating, get lost in a snow labyrinth and walk through carved snow sculptures. The entrance ticket is valid all day, so you can go and warm up and come back.
The Snow Restaurant next to it is built entirely of snow and ice, and there is a warm indoor café, Ensilumi, for when small hands have had enough. A short walk away, at Joulumaantie 5, the Elf Academy teaches you to be an elf: book elves, home elves, toy elves and sauna elves all study there.
Lapland has snow for months on end, and snow turns out to be a building material. Someone worked out that you can carve an entire park from it, run it all winter and let it melt in spring.
That is also why the park has an opening date and a closing date. It is built again for every winter season rather than kept standing all year.
At the Elf Academy you can actually graduate. I still have my diploma. Home elves are best at hiding in plain sight, so you have probably walked past three of us already.
Winter season 2026 to 2027: the park is open from 6 December 2026 to 17 March 2027.
The entrance ticket is valid for the whole day, and you can leave and come back.
Book lunch or dinner in the Snow Restaurant in advance. The meal price already includes the entrance ticket.
In summer 2026 only Café Ensilumi is open, daily 12.00 to 17.00 from 22 June to 31 August. The Elf Academy is a winter activity and is booked separately.
